H-60 A/L/G IDS Pod Set
Presents instrument-display condition from sensor to cockpit for H-60 A/L/G Black Hawk variants.
The H-60 Instrument Display System Pod Set, used with the UxValidator™ Series II, presents instrument-display condition from sensor to cockpit. The Pod Set simulates signals to both Signal Data Converters (SDCs), which in turn synthesize the signals for display on the Copilot Display Unit and Pilot Display Units (CDU/PDUs) in the H-60 A/L/G cockpit.
This configuration operates in conjunction with the UxValidator Series II platform and is not a standalone solution.
The IDS Pod Set simulates the following signals for input into the SDCs: Torque, TGT, Ng, RPM, Engine Oil Pressure and Temperature, Transmission Oil Pressure and Temperature, Rotor Speed, and Fuel Quantity. Torque, TGT, Ng, RPM, and Engine Oil Pressure and Temperature are simulated for both engines. Using the IDS Pod Set, the maintainer sits in the cockpit for the entire test procedure, interfacing directly with the CDU and PDUs throughout.
