Refurbishment

Refurbishment preserves serviceability for ULTRAX equipment restored to original or better condition and function.

Refurbishment is the deeper recovery path for equipment that has fallen outside the normal UxCare support cycle and needs restoration to original or better condition and function.

What it is

Refurbishment is the ULTRAX restoration path for equipment that requires more than routine support. It restores inoperable, degraded, incomplete, or aged UxValidator™ systems to original or better condition and function where applicable, including firmware updates and component supersession when original parts are no longer available.

When this is appropriate
  • Your equipment is not simply due for calibration or routine support.
  • The system is inoperable, degraded, incomplete, or otherwise outside normal serviceability.
  • You need to restore a fielded ULTRAX asset rather than replace it outright.
What you get
  • Assessment of condition and restoration scope.
  • Repair, refurbishment, and return-to-service coordination through ULTRAX.
  • A cleaner path back into serviceability, documentation continuity, and support.
  • Refurbished equipment carries the ULTRAX Verified Condition (UVC) designation on its calibration certificate.
Relationship to UxCare

UxCare supports equipment that remains inside an ongoing service cycle. Refurbishment begins when the asset needs deeper restoration before it can re-enter that normal support continuity.

Getting started

Start with the equipment type, current condition, and what is known about the failure or serviceability issue. We will help determine whether the asset belongs in an ongoing UxCare program or needs refurbishment first.
